LaVon Darville lives in West Texas and loves to paint realistic flowers, especially roses.  She believes the dark backgrounds show the individuality of each flower and makes a statement.  She was born single-sighted and has never actually experienced true depth perception, however she states, "I feel my paintings are unique because of having only one eye."
